Pragmatic AI integration for the enterprise - apply AI at right at the ingestion point where documents enter the enterprise without having to make changes in current workflows. As a result, the information found in the documents becomes actionable data.

 

No templates required - Unlike the older legacy Forms Recognition/Capture applications of the past, no template creation is required. For example, “out of the box”, Sheepdocs can import the data of any invoice regardless of format, with support for ~40 languages, and automatically create Salesforce records containing the invoice data with the invoice optionally attached.

 

Powered by Azure Document Intelligence (DI) - includes pre-trained, ready-to-use models (for invoicing, expenses, tax forms, etc.) and supports training of custom models for enterprise-specific documents. Batches of mixed document types can be submitted from a cloud drive without pre-sorting; documents are classified dynamically to allow mapping of the recognized values to Salesforce records.

 

Powered By Azure Content Understanding (CU) - in addition to DI, Sheepdocs also integrates CU which uses LLMs such ChatGPT and complements it with confidence factors. Like DI, CU contains pre-created, ready-to-use analyzers (mortgage forms, tax forms, etc.) and supports creation of custom analyzers for enterprise-specific documents. For example, Sheepdocs, through CU, can summarize and classify document contents and store the results in Salesforce records with the document optionally attached. The newly added Agentic mode in CU, albeit slower and more token-intensive, allows for complex document reasoning across document evidence, perform calculations, validate results, interpret visual information, and return structured fields.

 

High Volume Processing - Sheepdocs can import hundreds if not thousands of documents per “job” to allow automated creation and update of Salesforce records.

 

Review Queue - Sheepdocs includes an exception queue to allow review of those documents where one or more recognized values did not satisfy the required confidence factor. Optionally review all documents before committing the results to Salesforce records.

 

Supported Formats - Supports text and scanned PDFs, including handwritten forms.

 

Native Salesforce - Sheepdocs has been developed as a native Salesforce application using Apex and custom Lightning Web Components (accompanied by a small Azure component). Sheepdocs is currently in the Salesforce Security Review stage, the final step before Sheepdocs will be listed on the Salesforce AgentExchange (previously known as the Salesforce AppExchange).

 

Integration – Start jobs from the Sheepdocs UI, Salesforce Flow, or Salesforce AgentForce. Replace built-in recognition results validation with a custom Salesforce Flow (comprehensive sample Flow included).
